Product Announcement: Smart Indices

Today we announced a new product called “Smart Indices” along with 3 indices:

1. AI Majors

2. Gene Editing

3. Consultants

These smart indices are curated baskets of thematically linked companies for which stats such as job postings or certain kinds of jobs can be tracked. For example our AI Majors basket consists of:

• Amazon

• IBM

• Salesforce

• Nvidia

• Microsoft

• Google

• Intel

• Apple

• Bosch

• AMD

We chose these companies based on a high number of jobs featuring AI related keywords. Some of these are usual suspects while some were small surprises.

Here’s what the charge of aggregate jobs for this basket looks like:

Next we will start tracking ONLY AI related jobs for this basket. As well as a Smart Index of mid-size and smaller AI Companies. Furthermore, we will also start tracking what companies that are not involved in AI are starting to hire for it - hence giving our clients a heads up on Transformative companies.
