What is Revealera
Revealera is an Alternative Data Platform. But what does “Revealera” mean? “Revealera” starts with the word “Reveal” - which comes from the Latin revēlāre. Which means “to uncover” or, more literally, to remove the veil.
And that is why we chose this name. Because we believe in finding signals from the noise that help reveal insights from what may otherwise seem chaotic.
What can Revealera do for you?
That depends on you. Or truly speaking it depends on how you want to use the data and insights provided by Revealera. We started with 1 dataset which is “Job Postings” but over time we have added several datasets to our offering, and at the same time increased the breadth and depth of our datasets. As of today (Dec 2023) we provide:
Hiring Trends based on Job Postings for over 4,200 public and private companies
Product and Skill Adoption insights based on Job Postings from over 25,000 public and private companies
Subscription trends for over 60 SaaS products
Salary levels for thousands of jobs/locations
Industry/Sector level data on hiring trends
Most of our data goes back over 5 years.
But what can you do with this data
The answer is, sky is the limit! Here are some ideas:
If you are an investor who tracks a portfolio of companies, you can find insights into hiring trends of these companies - are they hiring? More than last year or less? Who are they hiring - Sales, Engineers?
What kind of jobs are these companies hiring for? In which locations? Have they recently opened shop in a new country/city?
How many people are looking for “Datadog” as a skill? Or for “AWS Redshift” vs “Snowflake?
Has demand in workforce for one skill or product shifted to a competitor?
How is the hiring in the Energy sector compared to Tech? How about global hiring and what can it tell me about the next jobs report?
This is just the tip of the iceberg! Still 1,000s of miles from the sky (remember, we said sky is the limit!)
